| Bio: | So here's what you ought to know before diving in. One, there are really two seasons in my year: baseball and television. I get revved up during Spring Training and talk about baseball all the way from March until October. Conveniently, by the time the baseball season's over, the television season's in full swing, and I talk about that a lot (but not as much) from September to May. In between, there's pretty much continual updates on what things are like at work, what I'm up to on the weekends, and how much alcohol I've had recently. So that's your basic content. Two, I live with my boyfriend in Silver Spring, Maryland. We used to live in Kensington, and I referred to that as "K-town" because Kensington's a fairly long name to type. Or say. Or apparently think. Unfortunately, I've yet to come up with a shorter name for the longer Silver Spring, particularly because I don't want to say I live in "SS". So Silver Spring it is. Silver Spring is an amorphous blob of a suburb outside of Washington, DC. I've lived around DC for four years now, coming from Boston and before that, Texas, which was where I grew up. Three, I make no bones about being gay (see two). You won't see lots of rainbows all over the place because I'm not into the activist side of things unless I'm pushed, but a lot of my posts will just assume you know about it. It's really only worth noting because otherwise things won't make sense sometimes. In real life, this sort of situation gets smoothed over with puzzled looks and laughing explanations, but you gotta be a little more upfront when you're online. And four, I tend to think I'm sort of a weird guy. I also tend to think I'm a pretty normal guy. There's a fine line getting walked around here, and it's just the way things are.
